TREATMENTS
Providing the best modalities in Fusion (a blend of any), Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Ashiatsu, Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Cupping, and all can be mixed with Essential Oils.
I focus on personal treatments, emotional balance, pain management, promotion of restful sleep, anxiety reduction and therapeutic approaches to preventive care.
FUSION
Why choose just one style of treatment?
Fusion is a blending of different modalities and styles. This allows you to choose your ideal treatment - maybe it begins with warming your muscles with Hot Stone followed by Deep Tissue work.
Or incorporate Cupping with relaxing Swedish.
Still unsure? Have a conversation with your therapist to define your customize plan.
HOT STONE
Add some warmth to your massage! Hot Stones help increase circulation and relax the muscles.
Feel the tension melt away with the smooth, water-heated stones. Especially nice on a cold winter day!
2 different styles include: hot stone placement resting on top of the sheet; or the therapist will use the hot stone as a tool directly on your skin.
60 and 90 minute options.
DEEP TISSUE
Helps to relieve severe tension in the muscle and connective tissue.
It's recommended for individuals who have chronic pain, do heavy physical activity, and have physical injury.
It's important to know that this heavy-hand style could leave you feeling sore 24-48 hours post-treatment due to the healing process of your tissue.
60 and 90 minute options.
ASHIATSU
Enjoy a broad, deep tissue massage while the therapist utilizes her feet and body weight.
This treatment begins with hands-on massage. Once your tissue is ready, Christina uses her feet directly on your skin in a surfing motion.
Manipulating her body weight with parallel ceiling bars allows her to correctly distribute comfortable pressure.
It is only performed on the posterior (back side) of your body to do deep compression work on major muscle groups that hold chronic tension.
60 and 90 minute options.
SWEDISH
Decreasing stress and muscle tension, mental and physical relaxation are all benefits you can expect from a Swedish treatment.
Light touch and rhythmic style for those wanting to relax and feel like they're floating on cloud nine.
The body is addressed as a "whole," flowing from head-to-toe, not focusing on one particular area.
60 and 90 minute options.
LOMI LOMI
Is a ancient polynesian modality that included prayer and spiritual work.
As a modern style, I have separated the body work and spiritual aspects, keeping the enjoyable therapeutic aspects while respecting individuals practices.
This massage is very similar to Swedish style using light and flowing body work - you may leave feeling extremely relaxed.
Deep Tissue is not performed in this traditional modality.
I recommend combining Lomi Lomi with Ashiatsu for a Fusion blend.
CUPPING
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures.
People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
A therapist puts special cups on your skin for several minutes to create suction, causing a vacuum inside the cup; in addition we can move the cups from place to place on your skin for a massage-like effect.
At Heeling Massage I always use sterile, medical-grade silicone cups.
